 We are always looking to find our dogs a forever home.  If you see a dog you think could be your bestest bud, scroll down to review our adoption process, then fill out online or download and mail in your application today!

Volunteer

Our volunteers are critical to these dogs everyday life.  Anything from walking a dog to helping them find loving homes, we could always use a caring teammate!
​AHDRNC Adoption Process:
  • Fall in love with a dog’s photo and profile
  • Submit Adoption Application (must be 21 yrs. of age or older to adopt)
  • AHDRNC Adoption Coach will contact you by phone to determine if dog is a good match
  • AHDRNC contacts vet and personal references
  • Submit photos of home & yard (where dog will be eating, sleeping, playing and generally hanging out)
  • In-person or virtual home check
  • Meet & greet scheduled
  • If love connection is found, take your new pooch home!

* Please note that applications are vetted in order received.  First approved applicant/ great match for a particular dog receives first meet and greet and right of refusal.
